EN MASSE POUR LES MASSES est un organisme à but non lucratif affilié au réseau d’artistes EN MASSE.
Il regroupe des artistes professionnels et des spécialistes en enseignement des arts. Il a pour objectif de renforcer le sentiment d’appartenance dans les communautés par la création de murales de grand format en noir et blanc.
L’objectif des ateliers d’EMPLM est de créer des murales collectives et spontanées. Les artistes partagent leur expertise afin d’aider les participants à développer leurs idées autour d’un thème donné et à réaliser une œuvre qui exprime ces dernières.
EN MASSE POUR LES MASSES is a non-profit organization affiliated with the artist group EN MASSE.
It brings together professional artists and specialists in arts education. Its mission is to strengthen the sense of belonging within communities through the creation of large-scale black-and-white murals.
The goal of EMPLM workshops is to create collective and spontaneous murals. The organization’s artists share their expertise to help participants develop their ideas around a given theme and create an artwork that expresses them.
EN MASSE POUR LES MASSES crée des expériences artistiques participatives où les idées prennent forme collectivement.
Principalement dans les écoles secondaires ou lors d’événements publics, les participants sont guidés par les artistes à travers une phase d’idéation et de croquis. Les dessins sont ensuite transférés et peints directement sur le mur, en collaboration avec les artistes.
Aucune maquette n’est réalisée au préalable : la composition se construit organiquement sur place, à travers les échanges, la communication et les idées de chacun(e). La murale devient ainsi le résultat d’un processus vivant, où la créativité individuelle se transforme en œuvre collective.
EN MASSE POUR LES MASSES creates participatory art experiences where ideas take shape collectively.
Primarily in high schools and at public events, participants are guided by the artists through a process of ideation and sketching. The drawings are then transferred and painted directly onto the wall in collaboration with the artists.
No final design is created beforehand; instead, the composition develops organically on site through communication, collaboration, and the ideas contributed by each participant. The mural becomes the result of a living creative process, where individual expression is transformed into a collective work of art.
